Food Sensitivity Testing

We know that food is medicine, so what if the foods you ate (or didn’t eat) could help you feel better? The relationship between diet and inflammation is an ongoing study and still under investigation. Certain foods can trigger inflammation in certain people under certain circumstances. These food sensitivities are not life threatening but they can directly involve your immune system and lead to symptoms of bloating, fullness, brain fog, mood disturbances and skin issues.  Most people are unaware of these sensitivities, and even though they may experience symptoms, they may not know what is causing them.

The following symptoms have been linked to food sensitivities:

  • Anxiety and mood disturbances

  • Fatigue

  • Cognitive impairment

  • Headaches

  • Skin problems

  • Achy joints

  • Upset stomach

  • Gas, IBS, and other bowels issues

  • Metabolic disorders such as obesity, diabetes, and inability to lose weight

  • Inflammatory conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, arthritis, Hashimoto's disease, and other autoimmune disorders

Someone with unknown food sensitivities can benefit from knowing how food plays a role in your body. This testing allows you to take advantage of leading technology to create a personalized nutrition plan.

Supplements

Bloom Wellness offers a wide range of vitamins and supplements to support your wellness journey.  Our vitamins are third party tested which means you know exactly what you are getting, and there are no added fillers.  Here are a few vitamins that we recommend:

  •  Vitamin D3 – While the skin makes Vitamin D3 from sunlight, many things affect absorption, such as time of day, seasons, skin shade and sunscreen use. Research shows that optimal serum levels of Vitamin D3 support normal cell differentiation, cardiovascular health, immune function, decreases inflammation, improves mood, cognitive health, and bone health.

  • Vitamin B Complex – Supports adrenal and neurological functions such as decreasing stress and improving mood.  B vitamins support mitochondrial functions and cell turnover, firming and refreshing the skin from damage of harmful free radicals.  Your supplement should contain activated forms of B2, B6, and B12.

  •  CoQ10 – This plays a major role in energy production and antioxidant protection. It supports the health and function of the cardiovascular, neuromuscular, and central nervous systems.

  • NiaVasc (Niacin) – This is one of the most studied and documented nutrients for the support of normal lipid levels and can help to bring high lipids back into the normal range. Sustained-release niacin has a lesser flushing effect compared with instant-release niacin.

  • Omega Fish Oils – Omega 3s found in fish oils decrease inflammation, support cardiovascular, joint tissue health, and healthy brain/nervous system function.

  • Magnesium – The fourth most abundant mineral in the human body, magnesium plays a role in over 300 metabolic processes. It helps develop and maintain bones and teeth. It also helps maintain the metabolism of carbohydrates, blood glucose, and fats, the formation of cells and tissues, and muscle function, including the cardiac muscle. Magnesium is a great symptom reliever for leg cramps and constipation and promotes calmness and relaxation.

Peptide Therapy

What is Peptide Therapy?

Peptide therapy utilizes natural, effective, non invasive supplements to decrease inflammation, promote weight loss, improve healing, hair growth and anti-aging. Peptides are tiny proteins made up of short chains of amino acids. They signal the cells in your body to perform in specific ways. Some peptides are designed to simulate human growth hormone (HGH), while others are designed to support specific goals such as weight loss and reduction of joint/muscle pain. They offer a wide range of benefits for overall health and appearance, including:

  • Boosting energy

  • Building muscle

  • Enhancing physical performance
